Hello, I’m Tessa – founder of SKIN by B.A. With over 19 years of experience in the beauty industry across New Zealand and overseas, I’ve spent my career helping people achieve their best skin without harsh chemicals or complicated routines.

My passion has always been rooted in simplicity, education, and results. Over the years, working closely with thousands of clients, I noticed a common theme: many skin concerns, from ageing to sensitivity and inflammatory issues like eczema, dermatitis, and acne, were often made worse by harsh, unnecessary ingredients.I knew there had to be a better way.

This inspired me to create SKIN by B.A – a skincare range made in New Zealand, designed to calm, hydrate, protect, and restore the skin’s natural barrier, using gentle but powerful ingredients. Every product is crafted with intention: safe for all skin types, especially sensitive skins, while delivering real, visible results.

Our products are housed in bamboo and glass packaging, not only to maintain the integrity of the formulas but to encourage reuse and sustainability — because skincare should be as kind to the planet as it is to your skin.

At SKIN by B.A, my goal is to make skincare simple, affordable, and effective, while educating you about what you're using and why it matters. I believe that when you understand your skin and what it truly needs, you can achieve lasting, beautiful results with ease.
